Shaw 2012 Season

THE 2012 SHAW FESTIVAL SEASON HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED:

FESTIVAL THEATRE:

"Ragtime", the musical based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow, book by Terrence Mcnally, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, music by Stephen Flaherty. April 10-October 14.

"Present Laughter" by Noel Coward, May 3-October 28.

"His Girl Friday" adapted by John Guare from "The Front Page" by Ben H and Charles MacArthur and the Columbia Pictures film "His Girl Friday", June 10-October 5.

ROYAL GEORGE THEATRE:

"Misalliance" by George Bernard Shaw, April 19-October 27

"French Without Tears" by Terence Rattigan, May 11-September 15

"Come Back Little Sheba" by William Inge, June 28-October 19

COURT HOUSE THEATRE:

"A Man and Some Women" by Githa Sowerby, April 27-September 22

"The Millionairess" by George Bernard Shaw, June 20-October 6

"Hedda Gabler" by Henrik Ibsen, July 25-September 29

"Trouble in Tahiti", music and libretto by Leonard Bernstein, lunchtime 1 hour performance 11.30am, June 1-October 7

STUDIO THEATRE:

"Helen's Necklace" by Carole Frechette in an English version by John Murrell, July 15-August 31.

Ticket ordering for members opens in November 2011 and for the general public in January 2012. If you would like me to coordinate ticket purchasing with your reservation I will be happy to do so. As a member I can order early. Please try and make your plans early.
